Bikini Bottom is a tranquil, undersea town that is thrown into chaos when Mount Humungous threatens to erupt and destroy the town! Spongebob, Sandy, and Patrick have to work together to reach the top of the volcano through falling lava, and Patrick's adoring fans. Can Sandy's inventions save the day? Will SpongeBob prove to be more than a simply sponge? Find out in The Spongebob Musical at the Turnage Theatre, July 26th and 27th at 7pm.
This production is a collaboration of BCAC's three week long Performing Arts Camp, and two week long Stagecraft Camp. This collaboration, as well as the art pieces and performances they produce, are only a few of the benefits of an arts education. Performing art and visual art both teach and hone skills useful in all areas of a student's life, including focus, confidence, and reading skills. The BCAC believes that arts education should be available to all students, and are committed involving new students in the arts.
